The journey of Shri RLT Institute of Pharmaceutical science & Technology and SRLT Institute of Pharmacy and Management under SRLT GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS, Ekdil, Etawah, U.P. have been magnificent one. It was established in 2004 with the motive to provide quality pharmacy education at Diploma, Under Graduate levels. The college has made significant inroads in the sphere of pharmaceutical education, research and development. This has been achieved by outstanding student participation in various activities supported by highly qualified and motivated faculty, a state of Art infrastructure and virtual learning system. The Department of Pharmacy aims to thrive in the area of industrial as well as clinical and community based research. To accomplish this vision, Institute has highly sophisticated laboratories, well equipped laboratory &machine rooms; central instrumentation facility, drug Information Centre, Computer Aided Drug Design centre, Library which satisfies the practical and research need of the students. As said by Martin Luther King Jr. “Intelligence plus character that is the true goal of education” we motivate students to inculcate social and professional values, inculcate a sense of discipline and character. We trained our students for peace studies and yoga apart from our curriculum to make our students physically and emotionally fit and mentally alerts. Our students are involved in the community through many volunteer efforts such as health camps, patient counseling, blood donation and health checkup. Students are also actively involved with their faculty mentors in research projects. Students contribute to research topic selection, literature review, research design, data collection, analysis of results, understanding the mechanism of action of the drugs, presenting posters and publishing research paper in reputed journal. I am committed to the continued quest to enhance and improve our teaching and learning and research environment, so that we can provide a learning environment for the future pharmacy professionals.
